We made…. Rainbow Rice

Rainbow Rice is easy to make… and lots of fun for the little people.

This actually keeps my girls entertained for hours!

Place about a cup of rice in a zip lock bag with a few drops of food colouring and a few dashes of hand sanitizer.

This helps spread the food colouring then I placed the rice onto paper towel to dry….

Once dry, I placed the rainbow rice in a large tub…

AND MIX…..

Some tools for the rainbow rice (I had these lying around the house):

Plastic spoons,

Formula measure,

Plastic cups

The rice and these tools are great fun and help little people practice their fine motor skills!

We also add plastic animals, which make a great addition to imaginary play!
